The final Parisian destination for streetwear/art heads, exceedingly hot women, people with moustaches, and perpetual window shoppers has long been Colette; a highly selective and accordingly highly priced boutique occupying some major league realestate on the corner of hip and cutting edge. Visiting Colette was as neat-o as it gets, but, well... I didn't buy anything. All the CDs they had for sale were already on my hardrive , I had (and still have) little interest in a Kaws bendy (which, by the way, are currently on sale for 40 euro), and already bought a pair of jeans priced to make your baby boomer parentals shit a brick back home in the good ol'. You know where I did buy stuff ( a bunch of stuff) though? Citadium. Across the way from (and I believe part of) Printemps Hausmann, Citadium isn't as "jet-set-fauxhawked out" as Colette can be- but don't sleep, Citadium still maintains a vicious selection of mid to high end European streetwear (Homecore, Aem'Kei, Euro Puma, Carhartt and more) along with all those nutty Euro-only Nikes; thereby making it a more likely candidate for your traveling shopping fix Euros, especially if you're on the "save money for drugs and nights out at Rex Club" budget.
Oh, yeah and it's party time up in Philly this weekend. Bo.
